I am sooooo TIIIIIIIIIIRED!!!! I have had too much going on lately....I will be able to post and catch up on all that is happened hopefully sometime this weekend... big life changes and realizations, fashion shows, kid and family stuff....

Sailing and selling........

Things are sailing along here @ Amanda Rose Studios.. Just sold a few more of my handmade creations....to a repeat customer. Very satisfying to have someone love my vision and quality of work enough to come back and buy two more designs. She got so many compliments on the first, she had to come back and get more. Makes me smile....

.............you know, one of those really big... stupid smiles.

What a weird and wonderful life....

Life is good and busy here as usual. I have had a very strange week and couldn't be happier it's the weekend. I shall spare you the details but I will show you a little of what's going on here in the Amanda Rose Studios....

I have just listed some fabulous new items on etsy....The pictures are below...I have a new line I am doing at the moment for those of us that are a little (or a lot) more womanly than we used to be. I have just noticed that 'real women' sizes in the one of a kind, upcycled, glamourous vintage style is very difficult to find. So I am gonna make some fabulousness(is that a word?)myself!

Of course, as usual, my pretties are made from an eclectic mix of vintage 20's-50's textiles....these particular pieces of wearable art include beaded satin from a gorgeous 1940's wedding gown, a gorgeous ruffled lace night gown from the 50's, waterfalls of beading from the 20's.... I could go on... but you can just see for yourself!

I have been working super hard on a whole new line of accessories... as well as a line for women of more normal sizes..still my style and design..just more accessible to those of us that are no longer 'high school skinny'....
